British Park Golf fits into existing green spaces with only minor adjustments. Trees and bushes make perfect obstacles
With shorter clubs avaiable for the youngest school children, Park Golf can get pupils into enjoying sport at an early age.
The key ingredients for physical literacy can be provided by British Park Golf. By building physical skills simply, pupils will gain confidence and positive motivation which once embedded with stay with them throughout their lives
Building new facilities at independent schools can be a major financial undertaking. The payoff is often quite finely balanced. British Park Golf can be installed for a modest outlay, but its visibility at the school will be high, generating strong positive PR.
As the adoption of British Park Golf grows, there will be an exciting opportunity for intra and inter school competitions. The British Park Golf Association intends to act as facilitator for tournaments in the coming years.
British Park Golf can be played all year round. Ground maintenance is very similar to traditional lawn. Fairways and greens do not need the meticulous attention of traditional golf
Sandroyd School in Wiltshire will open the first British Park Golf Course at a UK independent school in time for the start of the summer term. The course will be used by pre-prep and prep schools kids, staff and parents.
