British Park Golf is the leading force behind the UK's newest sporting craze.
With influences from golf and (possibly croquet), Park Golf is a simple, easy to play and hugely fun game for all ages.

Distant beginnings
Invented in the northerly town of Makubetsu, Japan, Park Golf has been avidly played since 1983
Back in 1995 when living in Hokkaido, I was introduced to the game first hand. It was only in its 12th year then. Kids, parents and grandparents were all having a great time, playing Park Golf together.
Built on spare municipal parkland, Park Golf follows the rules of traditional golf but on a condensed layout
- Holes are between 25 and 125 yards in length
- Balls are 6cm in diameter
- Holes are 20cm in diameter
In Japan, competitions are big, and fiercely contested, mainly by the retired generation but it's also enjoyed more informally by all ages.
41 years on, the game's reach has expanded to Korea, Brazil, USA, Denmark and now the UK.
